Do you prescribe medications for weight loss or mental health?

Yes. When appropriate, we prescribe FDA-approved medications to support weight loss, emotional regulation, and mental wellness. Medications may include:

• GLP-1 medications (semaglutide, tirzepatide), anoretics (phentermine, diethylpropion), Combination medications (Contrave, Qsymia), Metformin, topiramate, and others as clinically appropriate

• Mood support (Wellbutrin, SSRIs, SNRIs, etc.)

All prescriptions are personalized based on your health goals, medical history, and lab work.

Hormone optimization is achieved through a subscription model that includes the office visit, labs and medications that are delivered to your door with quarterly visits to keep you feeling your best!

Your mom was right - you are special, and you should be treated that way! At Affirmations Health, HRT is customized to your unique hormone levels and needs, making it a more precise and holistic treatment than conventional hormone replacement therapy.

Do you offer lab work and testing?

Yes! We use labs to guide your care plan and monitor progress. We can order:

• Standard blood panels

• Hormone testing

• Metabolic and thyroid panels

Testing may be done through local lab partners such as Labcorp. Labs can be purchased out of pocket but eligible for reimbursement by insurance.

Do you accept insurance?

We are currently an out-of-network practice and do not bill insurance directly. However, we can provide a superbill upon request that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Many patients use HSA/FSA funds as well.
